Time Away....

The weekend was quite perfect.....exactly perfect.

Dinner with neighbors,
Bike riding,
Star gazing,
Owl spotting,
Tons of knitting time,
Pictures,,,of bike riding, knitting, fetching, friends,...

We left before sunrise
Soon after we arrived at the lake....
friends rolled in on this
we shared some laughs
&
too much junk food
all the while....
they waited for
their most favorite activity..
the golf cart
and waited....
and waited...
unless another golf cart came along
in which case they would have definitely
tried to hitch a ride
...........and waited
 for the
Harley riders to
mosey on down the highway

They did get their ride....
all around the entire mobile home park...

around and around and around,
to the water tower,
to both beaches,
to the water to fetch sticks,
to the firestation,
through the campground,
to the market
to the dumpsters
by then I was ready for some
"knit time"

It was perfect...
the lake,
the sun,
the entire area all to myself

so I knit,
and knit,
and knit.
and then it was done
(except for the bits of loose ends to weave in)

I'm pleased with the end result...

This is a toast to my best buddy Jennifer @ A View From A Brown Dog
I wasn't there for the Corona shot
so I posted this for you....
I won't tell you how or where I was
to take this shot....

let's just say it was risky and
I had a great view of some rooftops.

Soon we'll be there at the same time and then let the good times roll.

Have a good week everyone....
 I haven't forgotten the candles..
or the book with the shawl pattern,
both will be posted soon....the book comes out Nov. 8th with the shawl pattern but it's available now on Ravelry...
I think I'll just download it now....
I'll post it tomorrow...
Have a great day..

see you soon....and thank you for stopping by my little space,
it's very kind of you!!!!

Welcome back! Glad you had a great trip. Excellent photos here... especially like the reflection in the glasses and the lakeside chair.

Knitting looks more gorgeous by the lake :)
I think I should knit a cowl for my freezing head - from office airconditioning!
