Rocky....

this project has certainly been "rocky"....

I bought this pattern from a little yarn store in Palm Springs about two years ago.....
it's the vest on the right...
I'll post the full pattern info
when I finish the vest...
this week...
for sure...
I promise...
I bought Noro Kochoran (wool, angora, silk) shortly after to make this vest for my mother....

I'm fairly certain after the first year of waiting she forgot all about "rocky"....

I finished it in October while on a trip to Chicago....only to discover the collar was cockeyed by about 75 stitches....

I'm only six rows from completion today....and with the fun knit-along going...

Rocky will finally be done....I think I'll even hum the theme song and run up some stairs for you while I model it...I'll post the vest and show you....this is the final chapter for Rocky, no more sequels...

regardless of how the collar ends up.

Have a great day...tomorrow I'll show you the cool new necklace I've been given...I love it,,,really love it.

And the santa hat....I have to knit faster....so she can wear it over the hills and on the three planes to Grandmothers house she comes.....

It does look like something your mom would like to wear.
