Lap Dog slept.....
the project is getting closer to completion....at least the dirty part is almost over.
still trim to paint, dishes to scrub, rugs to wash....is the end result what I was hoping for????
not exactly.
But....it's affordable, (that's what I keep tellin' myself)
no more broken tile, and stays within my 2012 plan of living a "restful year".
with that said - it was a project of compromise...
lot's of mutual agreement - "we don't want to do this again".
I wanted a black sink.. What was I thinking???
Note to self .....I really need to speak less and listen more.
I am loving this....
A fun playful dish mat... home depot...$6 bucks.... |
Enjoy your day friends...and a very HUGE thank you for your thoughtful comments -
you're so sweet and always positive...truth be told...I'm still adjusting to the shock of so much black.
After I've finished cleaning up and Man In Black is done with the trim I'll post more kitchen pictures...
I think the rugs and curtains will be an improvement - or solar lights beaming down from heaven.
Happy Valentines Day....

Compromise is good and listening skills are great (I'm always working on these). Based on the photos, I think your project came out great! By the way, check out My Sterling Shots... He's blogging again.
Happy Valentine's Day! I am looking forward to seeing more!
What I can see is looking good, friend!
Happy Valentines Day!
I think it looks great, and I love the antique coffee jar. :-) g
Oh, and the little dog curled up on the antique comforter.
