3rd Sundays..

I'm getting my groove back and including walking
every day.....
I used the time change in the Fall as an excuse to
stay home in the evenings...
the results....
big surprise...
I weigh more...

so....

the time changed back and I'm out the door in the evening
I still weight the same...
maybe I'll have to give up the pocket full
of M & M's I take along with me....

you know...for a burst of energy...

On my early morning walk Saturday I found a treasure....
one man's garage sale of junk
 holds this girl's
hearts desire...

I've wanted one of these for a long time..
I know they are available at the grocery store...
but this one's old

a bit worn...

and soon

will be custom covered in adorable vintage fabrics
with a liner
ready for a shopping day at the local
antique flea market every 3rd Sunday

Since Man In Black belongs to a gym

and he goes

and does workout....

unlike me......

who joined and only carried the
membership card in my wallet
...

he gets to eat cookies.....lots of cookies

Gina is my helper....
always near....

since she can't eat the cookies...
she stays near by to ensure the cat and Annie don't get
any either....'
or if they do...
she's the first in line..

Delicious

I bought these recently at Sprouts....also in some areas called Henry's Market...
Pasta or potatoes with vegetables and the jar of dressing....really good.
I know there are plenty of wonderful cooks out there who make all their own dressings..

well, I not one of them..if I find a good store bought brand - it's going home in the grocery bag.

Remember the cookie recipe I posted a few days back?
Well,, I made them again....only this time I switched the butterscotch chips for white chocolates..

it's a 50/50 split....some liked the chocolate better than butterscotch...I'd eat either one..

Team Sicily......
these may take the "favorite" over
the Pecan Bars....

what I loved in this post:
your pocketful of M&Ms on your walks - why didn't I ever think of doing that for my walks?
your gym membership = carrying the card in your wallet
hooray for store bought dressings - if you ever see a bottle of creamy Japanese sesame dressing, you must try it!

I die laughing :)

P.S. I would definitely eat the cookies :)

I would like Gina to come sit with me today. I would promise not to give her cookies, but one might accidentally fall on the floor...

I am so impressed when people see objects that others have discarded and can give them new life. My vision seems limited!

I am going to look for those sauces. I love the bottles!

Love your pics, as always! Sorry I missed the desert. When I get my April schedule, possibly you, Pete, and me in the desert?

Oh, Gina...who could resist that face? Tallulah Mae is the sous chef at our house, always right there. My grandma let her lick batter off her fingers as she put baked goods in the oven, so now whenever you open the oven door, she checks your fingers.
