Good Morning World.

Oh Lord...what is the world coming to???? Really,,,,it sickens me.
This morning we had a very early company meeting involving all employees (we do this monthly) to discuss small stuff, any problems, jokes, donuts...basically to let the employees know we're all in this together (the down turned economy that is) and that if we work smart, stay together, we'll get through it.

That said, one guy was missing???? Odd,,,where was he???
Shot...that's right....shot....as in..... by a gun from another driver on the road.

On his way to our early morning meeting some piece of trash (I cleaned that up for your reading) zoomed past him on the freeway - after flashing his headlights at him (and maybe a honk) the driver slowed down to pull up along side and fired two shots at his car.....one hit the windshield breaking the glass...he has an injury to his temple but unknown at this time if it was from the glass or grazing bullet...

Luckily, he's okay....the piece of trash is still out there....on the roadways...armed.
This is a lucky day for our employee....
I do hope by the end of the day it will be very unlucky for the other guy.

You just don't know folks when you get out of bed to begin the day what life will bring you....
For our guy...it's a great day...a very lucky day....a day he gets to think about how fragile it all is.

Have a wonderful day....and please,,,if you see a piece of trash behind the wheel of a car...
let the highway patrol take care of him....they'll have more bullets than he will.

See you tonight...I have to drive back to work.....I'll be unarmed.

So sorry to hear of this happening to your friend and glad he wasn't seriously hurt. I too hope they catch this person who has no respect for life but armed or unarmed isn't what makes the difference it's who you are.

It's hard to find good in the world when things like this happen. Holy Mackerel.

What a scary SCARY thing.
You are so right, when you get up in the morning, you never know where the day will take you.
