forty hours later...give or take...
we've arrived to another Friday....
this week:
I've dined out twice...
baked what Man In Black says was my best pot roast ever....
walked eight miles with the intention of this becoming a regular routine......
made dinner plans with friends to try a recently opened restaurant.....
enjoyed dreaming of a new mini cooper......
confirmed definite plans for a road trip in April that's been talked about for two years....
listened to more episodes of "Jeopardy" than I would have desired....
knit on three separate projects while not enjoying a single one....
watered the Queen's Anne Lace pony pack dreaming of how beautiful they'll be in a couple of months.....
checked the computer several times a day hoping/wishing/wondering if there'll be a new video of my granddaughter....
Enjoy your Friday...my knitting is waiting....so is the sofa after walking a brisk 2 1/2 miles...

but living in the wild up against the hillside...a very special discovery.

so the pot roast was a success!? That is good to hear. I will try and take some more vids of zoe, she is getting to be a little crawler....

You were too busy taking pictures to notice that there is a snake in both your desert tortoise burrow pics. Look closer! ha ha! :-)
Very cool shots. I wouldn't have thought to take a pic of the desert tortoise burrows! Now if we can just remember where they are so we can go back and check them out again!
