San Frannie...here we come

It was a perfect weekend...
the adventure I was hoping for...
time spent with favorite people

There are LOTS of pictures so if you'll be so kind
as to spend a few days with me,
I'll post our entire weekend experience.

Our destination was Walnut Creek/San Francisco
the drive up was sun....
to clouds...
to pouring rain...
perfect for the red rain jacket..
somehow - not sure what I was thinking..

I forgot to pack the cute plaid rain boots...oh pooh.

these guys are wet all the time so they didn't see the problem

Welcome To Our World

The skies cleared for a bit of afternoon shopping.....the shopping??? It Was Good...

Really good....as in a beautiful purchase of much desired Allclad cookware......

and a bobble from Tiffany's...(here's a tip - the cheaper jewelry is at the back wall..for people like me)

I love the colors of this building...I'm sure with a few rays of sunshine on it the look must be stunning.

Walnut Creek is a fun upscale town...it has a Rodeo Drive feel to it...only minus the Bentley's

The rain started up again so we opted to relax and enjoy a great lunch -

Buckhorn...known for their tri-tip...if you have one in your town...go inside and order

This masterpiece was ordered by my SIL and I wanted to dive right into those crispy onions on top

Man In Black ordered the Chopped Salad w/Tri Tip and I had what soon looked like a boring bowl of Tomato Basil soup in the background

I figured I'd make up for it by ordering something off the hook for dinner later that night....

When we couldn't carry one more bag between all of us - we headed to the hotel for check in
I don't mind telling you staying in the Bay Area
on the seventh floor
yup...I was cooking up a possible escape route..
no, not jumping

I was a bit tired last night to get the photos in order and posted so we'll start with this for this morning...
tonight I'll continue and we'll go along together this week for your viewing pleasure..
there'll be bart riding, people watching, shopping, views, murals, boats, and of course...lots of food

it was a great weekend...even the sunshine decided to come along with us.

See you tonight buddies.

Thanks for sharing your trip, I will be sure to watch!

I loved your escape plan! You have to have one in that part of the country!
