Oh..!!!!!

thank you, thank you, thank you for your loving concern for our doggies....

they're still a bit quiet today... resting...

best they can't talk - otherwise I'm sure there may be a few tears...mine

I've learned that when dogs fly sometimes depending where they put them it's very cold
...and extremely loud....

but...that was yesterday...

and today....it's a new day

don't ya just love that????

when things are rough....you'll have a new day tomorrow.

so what have I been doing on this new day?

I've been diving into my stash of yarn....
and on that note..
I'd like to add that we've just completed the sixth month of the year....
and.....
I've kept my new year's promise to self...

no more new yarn in 2012

I've collected deep rivers of yarns to play in
(I went off the deep end a couple of years back and spent like a drunkin' sailor).....
wanna see?

remember this book I bought a couple of weeks back?

after reviewing this book and picking out three different fibers that I'd like to have blankets knit with I realized I may just have the amounts needed in my overly purchased - well hidden throughout the homestead stash.....

Wool......yes, Leah...this will have your name on it.....but Eric may want you to share on cold evenings while movie watching

Alpaca....mine....mine....all mine....my favorited fiber of all.....
but I'll share if there's a chilled body on the sofa .... but it won't go home with them

Cotton....
still pending...I'm four colors short...
but I figure by the time I finish the first two blankets....
I'll be well into 2013 and the shopping for new yarn is back on full steam ahead

first....I'm making great progress knittin' up this sack of cottons...Heather...do you have a color preference??? or surprise???

Team Sicily has requested new pictures of their fourlegged children....
Hi Mom & Dad...
I'm so much happier today at Grandmas...

we went on a short walk....
we need some practice behaving on a leash...
Grandma may do a face plant on the sidewalk before our visit is over

I'll wait for you...

I went on a walk too....
now I'm chewing my nails...
one is split all the way down the middle...
ouch...ouch....ouchie.

have a wonderful Friday...I plan to relax and enjoy being home this weekend....
no big exciting 4th of July plans....just quietly enjoying the freedoms of living in the U.S.....

Eric...please send along our thanks to those you pass in uniform...and those too who are back to wearing civilians.

I'm so happy the babies are feeling better!

I think you should knit the both a welcome home blanket?

It is so good to see the 'babies' doing good. They will soon forget all about the trip.

Have a very relaxing weekend. xo

Yarn stashes, happy dance! And sweet doggie faces, happy happy dance!

As far as Etsy goes, it's not too hard. The inconvenient thing is that you have to set up an account to buy. If you choose to do so, it's pretty easy--but I'd advise you to pick your name carefully; that way you could use it later as your shop name if you ever decided to sell any of your gorgeous knitting there!
