too fleeting...

we had a great trip....always wonderful to see everyone and a quick inhaling gasp when we see how much the little kids have grown....

as far as the adults...we're holding steady and looking pretty much as we did last year (at least that's what we tell eachother)

Meet Pam...my sister-in-law....
she looks the same as the day I met her....in that regard...we are not alike!!! The woman doesn't age...
but I still love her anyway...

newly found treasures from the Dollar Tree and Big Lots stores found their way into the backseat of the car for the ride home.....I used self control....the perfect red blender remained at the mall.

my self control flew right out the window and off to outer space when I saw these.....
oh how I wanted one.....or two.

Man In Black said "forget it"..... he's my voice of reason.....

my voice was saying..."oh fun...yes, take one"

I'm almost finished with all the body parts for the giraffe....

I think Zoe will be surprised...and since she's only a year old she won't notice my lack of whip stitching ability

last night was another photo class....I was so tired I kept watching the clock on the wall and counting the minutes until I was in my jammies and off to bed.....I've been learning more than I had hoped so I think I'm off to a good start - next week I'll be more rested

today I'll be riding my bike to the farmers market to buy a loaf of the best sourdough bread I've ever tasted...I'll miss the market when it ends in October...I haven't been for a few weeks so the vegetable selection will be a surprise...enjoy your day friends....I'm working on the giraffe tail and horns today...

he'll be making his way to the blog screen shortly....I'm deciding if I'm going to make pom poms or loops for the mane....stay cool today....see you soon

Hello Sister in Law!!

Oh, vacations go so quickly don't they. We anticipate for so long and then they just fly by.

I can't wait to see your giraffe and whatever mane he ends up with!
