when you go to the laguna arts festival you'll.....

experience free trolley rides
and there'll be lots of food to tempt you.....

to buy meatball tacos.....
....weird.... but wonderfully good....
where you'll eat listening to really great music...
Neil Young....
"helpless"....
love, love, love that song...
"neil" was behind the post......

and see some of this kind of art.....
and art like this....

and lots of this
all in a setting of running water like this ....

all close by and walking distance to this.....

where everyone enjoyed perfect weather.....
people were all so happy and relaxed....
the courts are always full....
everyone is welcome to play
or spread out on the warm sand...
you'll find me here...
I'm worthless on the courts...
somewhere up there...
"The Housewives of O.C."
a perfect location...
directly across the street from the sand...

where we left behind our names....

this goes on all day long..
every day...

folks....
this is life in the O.C....

What a great set of pictures! I particularly liked the one with your names written in the sand ~

Did you see the movie "Savages"? It was set in Laguna Beach and despite it being violent we enjoyed it.

Ahhhh yes ... We LUV Laguna.
Hubs and I would spend our weekend, usually Sunday, body surfing (yes, I used to body surf) and then head to La Paz on our way home for some yummy Mexican food and a beer. Those were the days.
Our daughter, SIL Jim and favorite grandson Kyle live over the hills in Aliso Viejo. So we still have the pleasure of visiting some of our old 'stomping grounds'. Thanks for sharing these wonderful pictures. Their 'Saw dust Festival' is awesome too.
