Dino....

Originally I had planned to make this a bunny sweater.....

I should know by now not "to plan"....

so when I ran out of yarn before the top down was finished...

out came a queen sized mattress covered amount of buttons....

the bunny buttons are too big...

so I'm going with dinosaurs....

looks like this "either" sweater just became "baby boy"

yes,....I know...there are folks who would gently (or not so gently) lecture me on not sex gendering childrens toys and clothes...

well, I'll leave that up to the parents...I'm just the knitter and in this case...it's going into the "boy"
gift giving collection.

anyway, as I was saying...I ran out of yarn before I finished...

the last of the sleeves are still on the stitch holders....

thankfully, the new parents don't knit...and I'm hoping they'll be focusing on the buttons and less on the trim color I plan to add to the not long.... but...shortened... and different colored ribbed sleeves

and since this is a boy sweater...I'm back to Square One not having anything for the baby shower..

I'm thinking I'll go with a blanket....Debbie Bliss Cotton Angora....

the problem....I don't know where I packed the yarn in preparation of Team Sicily coming home to live for awhile...
when I asked Man In Black to come in the bedroom to look at the selected buttons he stopped dead in the doorway when he saw the bed completely covered in yarns and buttons and the floor covered in yarn stuffed storage boxes and others poking out from under the bed mattress frame..

do I dare tell him there's more throughout the house?  I think not...

if we ever moved he could pack all his stuff in a couple of hours....me???

I'd need a month. ..... at least.

I truly love this sweater, but I want to see a picture of that bed covered in the buttons!
