motor boatin' week ahead

I'm laboring....

in the most delightful way....

first...

I shopped the grocery store at the desert market for a new dress...(it's 103 degrees...so I needed something light and breezy.....any lighter and it'd be a tissue paper dress...

then, I needed something to eat and drink for all this laboring.....

and something to read and knit.....

my friends are here to labor along with me......

we'll be floating and motor boatin' tomorrow......

how's your labor day weekend going???

now these two????

I think they've misunderstood the meaning of the weekend....

bring out a power tool.....and soon.....men came in a flock......

silly men.....

girls have a whole different idea of fun...

they say things like "cut a 45 angle....use the "L" bracket....mark the line here...

see you soon friends....many more photos to come today and tonight.....for now..

I'm reading...lounging....relaxing....you know "laboring"....in the most wonderful way..

and I forgot to tell you...I'll be doing this ALL WEEK LONG....yeeeeeee haw.....

we'll hit the water after everyone goes home tomorrow....

last count outside.....one 4x4 post......four grown men standing staring at it and talkin'....

Oh, I love love love the dress! I hope it helps you stay cool.

boys and their projects. It's probably good they have them, or they would really drive us bonkers!!

Steven and I listened to Unbroken. WOW WOW WOW. Talk about intense.

Enjoy your week at the lake! Cheers!!
