Wheels Up And Locked......

They're sleeping .......

I'm figuring out the time differences and what time it'll be here when they leave for the airport.....

Italy....Germany.....Home.....

I've opened and closed countless times the tiny bedroom door imagining them here...

Zoe standing in her crib waiting for someone/anyone to come lift her out so she can run a muck throughout the house....

The dogs.....are in for a shock....especially Annie....

I'm thinking she'll be anything but thrilled about the chubby little legs just steps away as she'll try to run for cover....

Gina, the dalmation, she may decide the other side of the baby gate in Jaclyn's bedroom is her place of choice to spend the afternoon hours...away from chubby fists who haven't mastered the art of soft petting.....

I'll start tracking their flights shortly...
In my mind...I'll be listing the tasks still left undone that will require a bit of running here and there.....
Marie Callendar's..(a pie is needed)....
The party store...for greeting my baby granddaughter....(she'll never remember but I will)...
Cleaning off the diningroom table....(why is that always last?)

Tonight...I'm off to go visit my new grandniece....Lillian Jade (lily)...

Soon she'll be home (she's slow out of the starting gate of life and requires a bit more time with the nurses and doctors that are showering ooh's and ahh's over her)

So as the hours pass....I'm knitting....something to keep me busy while my loved ones are thousands of miles away, thousands of feet above ground level.....

What's planned for the weekend?....photography....there's lots of "firsts" coming

First toy store visit (click, click), first neighborhood playground (click, click),

First walking with Grandpa (click, click, click, click).......

Enjoy your day friends....happy weekending.....

I can totally picture you tracking the flights, driving to the airport and finally getting to see your family and that great hug that follows.

Is this the first time you have seen your granddaughter?

I am so stinking happy for you my friend.
