the pace....

so I'm plodding along with the knitting....

not getting much of anything done....

the days continue to pass and the time is getting closer for the arrival of new babies.....

maybe I've been waiting for "the pressure" to kick in and get the needles flying....

my new year's goal was to avoid "the pressure" ...

so far it seems to be working but my knitting results have slowed to the pace of thick molasses....

which makes me think of food....

I'm missing my kitchen....must add that to my "weekend things to do" list....

an apron, a wooden spoon, a glass of wine, my overly large heavy bottom favorite cast iron pot....

makes me happy....with the kitchen window open....so I can hear the birds outside...

but...we've been warned by the weather folks rain is possible for the weekend....

all the more reason to don the apron, stir the pot, open the window to let in the cool wet air....

and let the white wine flow.....into my favorite red glass.....

what are your weekend plans??

restaurants??? movies???? football?????

I've discovered somthing recently.....as I'm always telling Man In Black I want to move away...

to somewhere green, pretty, open.....where there are "seasons" and I can wear winter type clothing...

guess what?...we've had seven days of record cold weather for Southern California....

I didn't like it.....

when the sunshine returned, the temps were back to normal,

I told Man In Black...."don't listen to me"...

"we're living in exactly the right place"....

he's a smart man not to listen to everything his wife asks for....

he smiled and said "I never do"...

see you soon buddies...I said I wouldn't show more pictures for the trailer process...

but I must....I must keep track and share, right????

because I fully intend on bringing you all along with me while we camp!!!!!

Every once in a while we miss living up in New York...and then we see the news and the blizzard and then we don't miss it anymore!

You are so funny, i know i was all about "more seasons" myself until i was picking up frozen poo and there was ice everywhere, not to mention i was frozen myself. I think i'll take the mild weather, we are lucky aren't we... Seriously have it made so many people are having extreme weather right now.

Have a great weekend!
