25 years...well lived.....salute to Brian....

thank you for your kind words on the loss of Brian......

his family was surrounded by the love and support of an overflowing, filled beyond capacity church with people who's lives were touched by Brian....

there were tears of course, but the smiles and laughter remembering and celebrating Brian's twenty five years gave everyone in attendance comfort.....

we remembered how he lived and loved his family and friends....

it's not how someone leaves this world to focus on, but what they did while they were here...

and here's a bit of Brian I'll share with you I didn't know until today....

on Tuesdays he had knitting lessons from his Grandmother.....

I doubt he really had much interest in the hobby, but it gave him a reason to spend time with her....

and on that note...

let's talk about the patterns I promised to share....

I'm loving the little twist on the raglan sleeve on this sweater....a bit different from the norm....

enjoy the patterns....enjoy your day...

I still need a bit of practice on the copy/paste...I'll ask Leah to lend a hand in the morning...

but mostly....enjoy your life.....

it's not how long we're here...it's what we do with the time that counts....

live a life that fills to beyond capacity when your family and friends come together to celebrate you....

Brian's in God's loving presence....

I'll see him again one day.....of that I'm certain....

What a beautiful post, I am again so sorry for your loss. Brian appears to be a wonderful young man, very kind and loving to have knitting lessons with his Grandmother. I can not even imagine the horrible grief his family must be dealing with. So sad, and so senseless.
Hugs to you,
Meredith

So sad about Brian, I am sorry for the loss that his family is living with now. It sounds like he was kind and giving especially taking the time with his grandmother to learn the art of knitting..I'm sure she will treasure that time always.
