this space was created for me to keep a place where my thoughts would be positive....
so keeping with that in mind....
Eric, Leah, baby Zoe and the dogs all moved out today....
26 minutes from our door to theirs.....
they've moved into the perfect house ....
great location, welcoming neighbors and a white picket fence around the front yard......
that's positive, right???? then why do I feel so heartbroken....
the house echos....
she's gone.....
they're all gone......
all my birds have flown the nest..... I've had my moments of tears but then I remember....
Sunday suppers and babysitting weekends will assure that I'll see them often.....
so while they are busy setting up their new address...
I'll be setting up mine for the Fall season.....
and when Zoe comes back to Nana's house,
boy, will she be in for surprises!!!
I hope to get some new inspiration next weekend while visiting Santa Barbara.....
we'll be there with Ariel camping and there's sure to be pumpkins galore with all the trimmings....

I AM happy that they are 26 minutes away and not countries and oceans away this time!
