I went for a drive on a famous road…

in search of a place to sit and knit...

and found a lake…

and cast on a circle of yarn and began to knit...

too soon it was time to turn the truck around and drive West...

along the way passing a little house that waits for rehab and lots of love…

and then I remembered I'm still working on a tiny bedroom,  and I need a rehab house in need of love like I need a hole in my head...

and so we drove and I continued to knit all the way home...

and later realized the baby snug wrap I created turned out to be the biggest loser to ever come off my knitting needles…

so I took heart and reminded my self….

"you make cute hats….baby snug wraps?…well, it's best to pretend it never happened"…

well,?? maybe I'd have more success with the tiny rehab house?

I think I best just cast on for another baby project….

did I tell you the baby blanket turned out like crap too?

well, it did….

Lol! I have looked at projects that I have knitted and said something similar. "Just going to pretend that this one never happened" :)
Love your drive and pretty pictures.
I too go for drives and always want to take poor lonely looking homes and make them loved and pretty again.
But, sensible Hubby always reminds me that its a lot of work, time and money. And that is usually why they are sitting there all alone:(
