the project table is full...and a bit messy
if you knew how blazing hot the weekend has been you'd think I was crazy for even being near wool..

we thought we'd try to escape and head to the ocean for cooler breezes...
it's didn't work

but we did find a perfect day for Zoe...
a train trip South..
petting zoo...lunch and shopping
and countless glasses of icy drinks and apple juice....

and when the train pulled back into the station at home....
a jump for joy was followed along with "can we do it again?"

the scarf on the needles? blurry which is perfect..because I want to forget it...
frogged off now...the pattern was giving me fits and the wonky corner was really annoying...
no amount of blocking was going to fix that pulled pointed corner..

so, I ripped it out and started again with a different pattern..
another hat almost finished and a shawl is being considered...

lots of podcast watching will inspire a long list of projects...
until I step outside and wonder where in the world would I wear a shawl?

after all, it hasn't been below 85 degrees in six months...
