Hi....it's been awhile

I decided to ditch the housecleaning and go out and enjoy life...

Why people put housework before activities with others is way beyond me...
If you do....you may find yourself old and alone...sitting in a clean house....

We took the day ahead and drove out to Joshua Tree National Park with my brother and Sister On The Fly Karmen and made a fun filled day of it....

It began with breakfast at a cafe diner, then a long dirt road until the Jeeps were left behind to wait while we enjoyed hiking for hours, an interruption for a picnic minus the beautiful fruit bowl mistakenly left back home, all surrounded by peace and quiet, miles of walking without sight of another single person besides us...

traces of desert tortoise burrows, a flyover by the U.S. finest, followed by an owl too quick for the lens, and then on to discover our goal....."the car wash"...

the more we looked, the more we found...

and it just couldn't be left behind without a bit of first hand experience of what it may have felt like behind the wheel...

thank you to my fellow hikers for a great day...
and to hubby for joining us...these days will never be unappreciated or forgotten....
how and who you spend time with should always be considered...

life's too short .... unless you value clean closets....which nobody really does.....ever.
