crush a handfull of blackberries
triple sec
kettle one vodka
ice
shake until you feel like your arm is about to drop off
pour into a chilled martini glass
pretend you are audrey hepburn
life is good....

today I planted outside.....for hours
is was good.....

cookie dough is chilling in the frig...
to be baked in the morning....along side the banana bread mix.....it was a great day...

I walked tonight with a neighbor....I spent time on ravelry looking for a shawl pattern,,,
I talked to my kids in Italy...life is good...I am beyond grateful for this time in my life...

The finished knitting project...a market bag for SIL....I'll post in the daylight....
what did I plant today....???? a boat load of herbs at my garden gate...I've always wanted herbs at my garden gate...for people to smell as they enter my yard..to make them think about food...making them want to take a handful home to enjoy in their kitchen.......food....do you ever think about food and the connection it has in our lives??
