Wheels..big n small

I'm making progress....not sure why I'm being so productive lately...but hey....let's not question it....
I'm just hoping it lasts awhile longer

My brain is never quiet....even in my sleep...it's a bother when it's 2:35 a.m.

So lately my brain has been thinking about bikes....I haven't been able to get a particular bike out of my head...it was adorable...flowers on the fenders....streamers.....a bell....

it was locked to a pole....I wanted to wait there until she returned (this bike had "girlie" written all over it) to get every possible detail where she acquired this darling mode of transportation, but Man In Black would have no part of standing for an unknown amount of time while the owner enjoyed spirits in the beer garden of our local farmers market until I could find where, I too, could buy a bike he is certain I don't need.

I have until October to find the owner of this bike (then it's so long to the market until April)....hopefully she's a repeat shopper (drinker) at the downtown market and I'll scan the bike racks and light poles until I find that two wheeler again...

I lost the logo name in my memory somewhere between the red light on Harbor Blvd. and the stop sign on Woods Lane while riding home...

It would be more reckless youthfulness sounding of me to tell you, I too, had been enjoying spirits at the market, but I visited the Kettle Corn booth instead, so I can't use alcohol as my excuse for lapse of memory...

Man In Black wasn't the least bit interested in the bike so storing the brand name in his memory bank never even occurred to him....ugh...he would have remembered...he's good that way.

I'm thinking Man In Black and I should take bikes and going somewhere....somewhere flat...somewhere scenic...I suggested this at dinner tonight...he didn't answer with a flat "no"..

it was more like a "maybe" so I'll continue with the hunt for that bike....in my mind..if he didn't say flat "no" it's the same as...."ya, sounds good, figure it out and I'm in"..... he knows me well enough to know this is how I decipher his communication....

a paved road....somewhere we can pedal, stop and take pictures.....pedal some more....stop and eat at a cute roadside stand....again with the pedaling.....and end up at a quiet location where other bikes are lined up...a B & B???

do you know such a place???
light car traffic....off the beaten path?

All the while the wheels are turning in my head I've been knitting a little hat n bibs....

babies due....sweet tiny summer babies....

Man In Black is a few feet away.....enjoying a cold frozen tangerine popsicle while watching t.v....

completely unaware of my bike trip planning....my pondering the purchase of this car I drove at lunch today.....we are a perfect example of how opposites attract....

This will hold bike racks right?....and it matches my half knit "jeep hat"...

one day I'll grow up....but it's not today..

I love red cars, I have one right now, An I have a bike with a basket and I love it, the only thing is it is very heavy and sloooooow. So if I want to ride it anywhere it is almost painful. three speeds and I can't really get anywhere on it. But it is cute!

I have, MAJOR bike phobia, but reading this makes me want to ride bikes with you.

And that red jeep is adorable!

Love you how captured a moment of real life and how all of our brains can work at time... at all hours too. I say there's no hurry in growing up completely and the jeep is awesome!
