I suppose I shouldn't complain...
soon there'll be folks far away who'll be hauling in firewood and piling on the blankets trying to keep themselves warm and we'll still be enjoying months of warm temps and days filled with limitless sunshine....
but for a moment here ...... I'm going to complain...
this hot weather is ridiculous....105 degrees at 5:30 pm.???? Really????
so when I was invited to go to the cooler temps of the local mountains tomorrow....
you bet I said YES!!!!
there'll be a cabin...a lake...lunch...blue skies...wading.....rock skipping....
you'll see on Sunday....

p.s....I have to tell you what a wonderful husband I have...while I'm typing my evening blog...
Man In Black hands me my favorite small pottery crock filled with a banana split ice cream sundae to enjoy...mini sized...just the way I like it.

That's a well-trained husband! Congrats on escaping the heat. We live in Central California, and it's awful this time of year. Thinking about the mountains ourselves tomorrow.
