used and oh so perfect....

when you're invited out thrift store shopping with my sister-in-law Gayle......

you know that you'll be visiting the best shops.....

and shopping with the sharpest eye for finding the coolest treasures.....Hers....

it was a great day - I was amazed at the amount of "glamping" equipment....
that's "camping with glamour" that we found to fill our vintage lil loafer trailer....

all "non breakable" as the tiny wheels bump along down the highway....

there'll be a table, baskets, flowers, granite blue plates, tin platters, vintage table linens and hand stitched pillowcases...
(a special gift from Gayle),,,,,
red checks on the bed,  quilted pillow shams, chairs, and the perfect plate to be hung along side the itty bitty sweet little kitchen sink...where tiny mugs with polka dots will watch over the bubbles

we even found a camping griddle (still in the original unopened packaging)...
for a single dollar....

a fun day indeed.......thank you Gayle.....I enjoyed every moment of the day....

Sunday the painting process began on "Ariel"....(the name we've given lil loafer)....
she's going to be adorable....

I can't wait for you to she her...

the sun's back, the air's warm again...it's time to explore California....
our bikes...fishing pole...and Ariel....oh,,,, the fun times ahead and memories we'll make....

Today Steve picked me a bouquet of flowers from our yard......a sweet way to end a perfect weekend..

and that's not the half of it!!! I haven't told you about Sunday yet....

Oh fun! You are going to have even more fun making Ariel quite the lady. My fave are the wine glasses!
