the hostess gifts are packed....
the cowboy boots are ready and good grief did they hurt when I wore them for 15 minutes over the weekend....
how will I ever last for four hours with them wedged in the saddle?
a message was received yesterday to be sure to bring leveling wood???
because we're camping in the pastures.....alongside the horses.....
I have trouble on asphalt.....leveling wood in a pasture???
this will be an experience.....
and I really don't want to have to call and ask Steve to come find me with the truck stuck with the trailer in the middle of a distant field....
no, this will go off without a hitch....
I have my boots, petticoat skirt and knitted beanie....
I will be a sight for the cowboys to chuckle over long after this adventure is over....
since there's just a couple of days left to go I'd best figure out how to use the walkie talkie....
or I may be lost with a horse and never find my way back to the pasture....
