I suppose for some….

attaching chipped painted shutters to the inside of their house wouldn't be considered…

I, on the other hand, intentionally drove several cities over looking for such a treasure…

I'm still developing the window treatment options for this corner window set, valance or swag?

the lead stained glass was an added bonus discovery, a second copper round style being saved to hang in the bathroom window….

while pushing my cart with the painted shutters and other architectural pieces tucked inside, I overheard a shopper asking his buddy "what do people do with old shutters?"….

haul them home and screw them to the walls of course…..!!!!

when the room's finished I'll post the end results….

I've always loved these corner matching windows in the back bedroom…this may be my favorite room in the house...

the brown wooden pair of corbels?…. going alongside the bathroom window with a wide plank board over the top to hold more flea market treasures I'm sure I'll be hauling home in the future….

enjoy your week and Happy Halloween….see you soon

I love the shutters inside the house, they are wasted on the outside because you can't see them as much. Glad you did not take too much time off. Happy Halloween,
Meredith
