since the day was so beautiful, it was perfect for drying the alpaca blanket just purchased from the flea market out in the yard…
the grass was warm and it wasn't long before it was ready to fold and store in hopes of coming out again soon on an evening around a campfire in the company of friends..
old kitchens, vintage linens, and overgrown gardens fill my thoughts…
a trailer that waits….thoughts of regret are pushed aside…
a laptop for reading, research, and pondering while letting M & M's melt in my mouth...
and then there's the ever present tug to go outside…
the day's light is ending….
I love the silhouettes of the trees, the quieting of the birds as they begin to settle in, the coolness of air..

it's time for a walk…

the lights are turning on and the warm glow from homes that have been waiting are greeting the weary residents...

You found a great blanket, I a new favorite jacket. Our trip was a success with the second hand items. Fall turned a little cooler today, only in the 60's now. So maybe you are due for some cooler temps too!
