this is one of my favorites...
it's one of those activities that gets tucked away...
a memory back into the corners of our minds...
years pass and we grow forgetting the moments...
decades later the memories bring comfort...
the smell of baking....
triggers a thought...
a smile...
a longing heart...
a lost memory that wasn't lost after all...
time with Nana and Zoe's lesson on the art of baking...
one day I will be gone...
but this time together, this peanut butter cookie baking, she will remember with love...
I love you Zoe...to the moon and back countless times forever...
using her pumpkin cheese knife is her favorite way to slice butter... |
Nana's juice glass works best when smashing down the dough... |
Zoe has the two times with the fork down perfectly |
well done my beautiful baby .....I am so proud of you |
you said "hurry Nana, they're heavy" |
