after returning from the road trip with the not-so-new but thankfully roadworthy latest addition to the list of toys, paperwork completed, friend visited, drive thru food on my lap, and doggy pit stop....

our little home away from home was waiting and ready for a weekend of fun....

Zoe turned four years old while we played on the water....

hard to believe how quickly time passes...

Steve and I were asked if we ever thought about one day having grandchildren with us out on the lake...
"many times" was our response...
it was our wish, and it's come true...

and after a fun filled weekend...

we packed up and returned home...
