the bird feeders...and bath?
still empty...and dry

but tomorrows another day....
today's hours were filled with laughing, baking, merry making....

there will be time for planting, painting and pendant sewing tomorrow...

baking with pumpkin knives, rounded end scissors, and matching aprons...

casting off a finished project, mailing a gift purchased long ago, another bag dropped off at the local thrift store, all out of my canvas bag and checked off the list of "must do's"...

flowers to a heartbroken friend, magazines bagged and ready to pass along to another, photos taken of generations on opposite ends of the life cycle....

a three mile walk....just before the sky grew dark and evening arrived...

all activities that filled my day...

tonight....I do hope to sleep past 4:00 a.m......
and if I don't?....
well, I'll be listening to birdsong and cutting burlap squares ready for another day to begin...

in the hens garden adjusting tomato cages, planting flowers and stringing lights.....
all sound like the perfect beginning to an early Sunday morning...

at this pace....I'll be exhausted by Monday.....
