there's been some crafting going on...
some real estate shopping...(no, not going anywhere, just dreaming)
some lunches out with friends..
and lots of blog reading...which causes me then to shop for real estate...which then causes me a great deal of depression....which then causes hubby to wish the trailer was finished so I would leave...or that he could leave...
the latest real estate of choice?....an 1890 farmhouse on 1.7 acres....
it's a mess...and my remaining life span isn't long enough to make it what it could be...
nor is the size of my wallet...

one of the recent posts on a blog she writes about Mt. Tabor park....
the blog writer was there...
someone I'd love to meet...
last week..
it doesn't really matter though...
I've been to Mt. Tabor Park....
walked the steep stairs...
seen the view....
I can picture them all meeting together...
quilts spread out on the grass...
oversized trees and scattered benches....
I know the streets and wooden doorways of many homes in Mt. Tabor..

I even did a bit of real estate shopping there too...

and one day....
I'll return...

Johnny the waiter who chats while serving us cocktails on the patio...
Pittock Mansion and the house that Henry built...
Happy Knits and the snobby clerk...

all a stop over on the exploration of the Pacific Northwest...

Seattle...the islands...a cottage....

there's a bike there waiting for us....

and the words to be spoken again as I've heard so many times in the past....

"Kyle, get back in the car"....

Some great photography. Who is the model on the bench that had coordinating sweater color with the fall leaves? Seems so long ago. But it wasn't. Seattle seems so far away. But maybe it isn't. It was the laughter after being told to get back in the car that I remember or maybe the relief that you made it in before the next 40 mile an hour car passed! How could a week be so perfect? Must of been the people I was with.
