Happy 4th Everyone/Happy Anniversary To Us!!!

Memories from this little spot

Main Street

This canal looks so pretty at Christmas when all the boats are decorated with lights. While touring the streets homeowners turn on all their lights with doors and windows open so people can see inside, Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby songs filling the night air - I'm waiting to walk past a house that has the ironing board or vacuum left out, these homes are picture perfect.

Hi, I told you I was going to "the island" Friday night, so I thought I'd post a couple of pictures so you could see what I was referring to. Balboa Island, this little bridge is one way onto the island, the other is on a small (3 car ferry) on the Newport Beach side. I found the "surfer type gift" and decided to go back on Saturday. That's a record, drive to Balboa twice in one weekend. Since the flags were displayed and I think of frozen bananas dipped in chocolate on a stick as an American treat, here's my picture to you for the 4th of July....
I hope everyone has a wonderful day, for me, it's an extra special day. We decided 31years ago it would be a terrific wedding day, fireworks included. Husband and I will be spending the day together, no special plans, just together and very thankful we've been given another year.

Have a great day everyone!!!

Happy Anniversary to you! Looks like you had a really great weekend. Balboa Island is always a nice place to take a walk around, lots to see. Give me a call when you have some time. I can't find my baby cardi pattern you gave me a couple years ago and am wondering if you still have it?
