I'm one of those people who doesn't like shopping for clothes....
if I find something that fits and looks half way decent I buy it in three colors....
so that should tell you that this being the third day of the work week....I'm wearing the last color.
let's hope for a huge cool down on Thursday and Friday....
Last night I ripped out another project....this yarn is a favorite of mine and the original hat was not doing justice to the yarn....so a quick rip job and it's back on the needles today.
this will be this weeks lunch time in the car knitting project you'll be seeing it soon... |
camera shot.... terrible camera shot...!!! check out the website this doesn't come close to how lovely the colors are |
pert near perfect for just about anything.....let me know if you have a favorite yarn..
here's the place to make your wish list.....www.malabrigoyarn.com
this will be a future slouchy....I'm thinking positive today that the weather will cool down and I'll have something other than Monday's color to wear on Thursday.....
I bought this yarn while visiting last weekend in the Chicago area.....it's going to be socks for Mom for Christmas....although...I have to tell you I'm wondering if the softness of this alpaca on hardwood floors will send her slip sliding and flying across the room.
That would make it a memorable Christmas gift for all the wrong reasons.
I know she'll like the colors - I'll tell her she just can't let them touch the ground...
t.v. watching socks....
I know a lil'l puppy that will be very interested in her feet up on the bed with these covering her toes.
Until the weather cools...I'm going to walk down memory lane and the Fall lined streets of the Midwest
Have a great day...see you soon Friends.

Last night at my Knitting Class, I was feeling up that same brand of Alpaca yarn!
How funny:)
Love the pumpkins and the colors of all your fibers!
Have a great day!
I am tired of this California weather too! Even though it never really gets cold here, I am looking forward to wearing scarves and cardigans.
I love your pumpkin patch photo and the yarn looks lovely. I never figured you for a ripper-outer. ;)

So I'm not the only one who buys clothes in different colours when they fit :)
