there was continued painting on the coop......
(why does a chicken house take so long for me to complete?.....it's not that large....geez..!! )

a trip to the thrift store in search of a "beach outfit" for the campout adventure coming soon .....

frames painted bright, happy cherry red...... for a drab sad kitchen....
that even these two frames won't change, but an improvement just the same....
(apartment living isn't the same as "home" as daughter is now finding out)

other photos framed and delivered for a front porch surprise...
for friends when they open their doors and wonder "what's in the bag?"......

a "get well" card mailed to a small child living with cancer....
the unfairness of this breaking my heart as I put the stamp on the brightly colored envelope.....

two "thank you" cards mailed to people who gave of their time and energy so that my life could be enriched by their efforts....

meals shared, smiles & laughing, silly chickens, movie watching….

memories made.....

it was a good weekend…..not everything happened as planned ….. so what didn't happen?….

can still take place in the coming week ahead….

after all…..now I have another hour of day light to get it done….have a great week ahead!!!!

 basically…..

I played all weekend while Steve sweated, painted, gardened and helped me with the camping tasks that will make the trip fun for me…..

I'm married to a great guy…..

and did you notice?…..the chickens were around while he worked….he'll never admit to it….

but I think he may actually like them now…….
