a gathering of letters....
begins the gathering of decor for the hens...

nothing better than fresh turned wet soil to make worms easy pickin's

banana or pumpkin?
why choose when we could have both....

the kitchen herb garden...
just an inhaled breath from the window...
a step outside the screened side door...
with a vintage door handle making it perfect for this cook....

complete with a coop......

happy gobble day....

after chasing around doing all the errands that needing doing.....
those tasks that would normally be done during the week if I were a free bird...
the afternoon on Saturday allowed time for relaxing....

and relaxing for me?
means getting outside and getting dirty....the chickens and herb beds certainly needed sprucing...
at least for a couple of hours and then....
relaxing in the kitchen baking....
and after that?
it's time to relax like most folks...
with a snack, sofa and movie...

I stopped by Red Box and picked up "Million Dollar Arm"... a Disney movie based on a true story
if you like baseball, or kids who do....you might want to rent it for them over the long weekend....

I really thought I'd have the knitted hat and scarf done by now...
I've been bugged with the seam so I've ripped it back....(this pattern wasn't done in the round)
what?? four times now?
that's alright, I think I've figured it, seaming on the purls...
by the sixth time it should be perfect....

the scarf will be ready and both get packaged and mailed soon....
a cartoon glass and biscuit jar are bound for a different destination...
I'm trying to get rid of clutter in the space I live....
so what do I do???
drive to Hobby Lobby and bring home more clutter....

oh well, at least what I brought home this weekend will stay outside and attached to the fencing...
the beauty in that plan?

no dusting required by me and it stays outside.....

Happy Thanksgiving friends...
I wish for you a table filled with your favorite foods, the chairs with those you love most in this world...

see you soon....

LOVE the signs they are so cute! Looks your girls are molting too. Mine are in the middle of a hard one, extra protein and hoping they finish soon and get back to laying. Sure looks uncomfortable doesn't it? Love all your pictures too. Sounds like all is well in your hood. Hugs

Hi, thanks for visiting! I love your signs and herbs and chickens.. ours haven't laid any eggs for months! I keep telling them they're going in the soup pot. They're only like 2 years old! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
