I'm up early as usual.....

I've decided if and when I would ever retire?....then that's when I'll rest and sleep in...

my sewing project is actually finished....FINISHED......100%...bouncing with joy....

I twirled around the family room with the colors flying, summer pendants the last addition to the garden....
well, maybe a wooden rooster to the screen door...and a painted ladder for my pots?...later...
....keeping my projects under a dozen at at time...I remind myself...keep it simple sister

truthfully, I'm not sure I'll ever really be done in my garden....not as long as Pinterest keeps adding inspiring photos and my hens keep me company...I'll show you pics after the mud puddles dry......

since it's still early...
the oven is on just long enough to bake a batch of cookies...
early morning light with a laptop on the sheets..
a small five pound dog curled sleeping just under the folds...

before I can hang the banners outside, I need to visit the hardware store for screws to attach them to the wooden rails....

and another trip to the fabric store for a last bit of bias tape for the remaining five flags...
( I said I was finished....then I decided the front porch needed one too)
I have a bad feeling I may have opened a can of worms with these pendants...
I want more....everywhere....
the fabrics are all so wonderful...it's like picking out candy...
can't I just have one of each?

my little Singer sewing machine humming along in a not-so-straight line...(it's likely the operator)
a pile of burlap is waiting....
not the easiest to work with, even when you know what you're doing...which I don't
so I will be watching countless times Youtube videos until i can figure out the "woof 'n warp"....

another knitted hat has been cast on....
it'll be for a boy...what boy i don't know...for a boy somewhere who matches the size when it's done..

I have piles and piles of stuffed yarn in containers under the bed (and in the dresser drawers in the spare bedroom)....another reason I need to clean before company ever arrived..

so whatever yarn strikes me at the moment...that's the project I cast on....

later I'll have the pendants up and flying....
another trip to the hardware store, fabric store and a new egg basket....all added to my list for today

trailer update:....
there's been profanity muttered under his breath, (more than a few times)...and not by me
hours and hours of work spent without progress....
and I am certain this will be the last trailer that will ever be seen being renovated by hubby...

I'm just hoping at this point I'm still married when it's finished....

and I will never bring home another ..."oh look, this will be so fun fixing it up project"...

but if I did....he would fix it for me...that's the angel he is...
